Recently,Franchise Owners, and their managers from our franchised swim schools all over the United States and Canada came together in Michigan to learn, share, and celebrate at the 2024 School Leadership Summit, all with one purpose- creating an Every Day Golden Experience for members.

This two-day session started with a welcome from our founder and CEO, Chris McCuiston, followed by a deep dive into building strong teams in each of our schools. A session facilitated by Pediatrician Dr. Molly O’Shea gave school managers insights into the unique needs of young staff, best practices for communication, and building independence and accountability. With these best practices, school leadership broke into small groups to identify ways to implement these ideas locally and provide GOLDEN experiences for school staff. “Providing a Golden Experience isn’t just for swimmers and families at Goldfish. It is a part of our mission. It is the goal of the whole Franchise Office team when working with Franchise Owners and their managers. It is how we want our schools to view their job managing employees – an Every Day Golden Experience is for everyone – our partners and communities,” shared Mike Skitzki, COO.

The remaining sessions incorporated the principles of the Every Day Golden Experience into all aspects of the business, from sales to lesson quality and marketing. Franchise Owners and their Managers made up a panel, from which they presented pilot programs, marketing efforts, and sales programs they’ve implemented that produced EXTRAORDINARY Results.
